    Set up your business

    Add your business name, then choose your country and trading currency. Contact and address details are optional.

    Add stock and start selling

    Enter products one by one or import a product list, then record your first sale. You can also explore the demo first.

How the numbers work

Credit is not cash. Sales minus expenses is not profit.

Many tools blur these lines. Tencias keeps revenue, money collected, money owed and expenses separate, and every total is calculated from your recorded transactions — never typed in by hand.

Revenue

Completed sales − discounts

Every completed sale after discounts — including credit sales. Reversed sales never count.

Cash collected

Paid at the till + repayments

Money that actually reached you. A credit sale only counts as cash once it's paid.

Gross profit

Revenue − cost of goods sold

Uses each product's cost at the moment of sale, so changing a price later never rewrites history.

Operating profit (estimate)

Gross profit − running costs

Clearly labelled as an estimate — it isn't net profit, because tax and other costs aren't included.

Security & privacy

Your business data,
under your control.

HTTPS protects data in transit. PostgreSQL row-level security separates each business's cloud records, and team roles set who can make changes.

Where your data lives

Tencias stores your records in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase, in the cloud region chosen for the project. It's encrypted in transit and at rest. In demo mode, the fictional data stays in your browser only.

Encrypted connections

Connections to Tencias use HTTPS. Supabase encrypts stored database data at rest.

Business-level access

Database policies scope cloud records to business membership. Owner, manager and staff roles control what each person can change.

Export your records

Download a full JSON backup or CSV files from the app. Automatic database backups depend on your Supabase plan.

Tencias subscriptions start on next week

Thank you for using Tencias during early access. From [start date], Tencias moves to paid plans: [plans and prices] Your records stay exactly as they are. To keep using Tencias after [start date], choose a plan and pay using the details in Settings → Plan & billing. If payment isn't received, your business gets 7 days of grace before access is paused until payment arrives. Questions? Reply to this email or contact us from Help & Support.
